What are cookies?

A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date; a session cookie, on the other hand, will expire at the end of the user session, when the web browser is closed.

Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies for the following purposes:
To help us display advertisements of services, content that we think may be relevant to you or of interest to you; and
To help us to analyse the use and performance of our website and services through the use of third party tools such as Google Analytics.

How can you manage or refuse the use of cookies?

You may refuse the use of cookies or withdraw your consent at any time by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Please be aware that removal of the Google Analytics cookie may affect your use and experience of our website.

If you continue to use our website without changing your browser cookie settings, you are agreeing to our use of cookies. To learn more about managing and deleted cookies, you can visit www.allaboutcookies.org.
